Building and deploying the site

The build system uses a git ‘superproject’ repo pytch-releases to coordinate the build process, both for beta deployments and also versioned release deployments.

• Querying status of all repos
• Testing while developing
• Making a deployment zipfile
• Local testing of deployment zipfile
• Making a beta or release commit
• Deployment to hosting provider

Possible TODOs:

• Create a build identifier automatically and store build info and contributing SHA1s somewhere central.
